Balls In Your Court Week 8 CFB Game of the Week: UCLA @ Oregon -6.5

What a matchup! Both explosive offenses with underwhelming defenses this is bound to be a great game. Both teams run the ball well on early downs with both Charbonnet and Bucky Irving being tops in the conference, but Bo Nix and DTR both have been relatively safe with the ball this year. Less turnovers and more big plays? That's a recipe for success. UCLAs defense has improved and they deserve credit for this, but not well enough to truly stop this Oregon explosive offensive attack. Bo Nix appears to have found a system for him by minimizing his turnover worthy plays and utilizing his athleticism in his legs. We don't see a lot of explosive pass plays from either guy but they are certainly capable. The key to this matchup for me is the UCLA 3rd down offense vs the Oregon 3rd down defense. UCLA has been near the top in finishing drive success in 2022 while Oregon, defensively, is near the bottom in 3rd down stops. I believe the motion and variety of this UCLA will give Oregon fits defensively. A home game atmosphere in Autzen Stadium should never be discounted, but I feel this UCLA team is legit in the PAC 12.
