Balls In Your Court Week 7 CFB Game of the Week: Alabama -8.5 @ Tennessee

I understand the day kicks off with Penn State @ Michigan, two top 10 unbeaten teams on Big Noon Kickoff. That being said, I don't feel its a hot take to say at least 70% of CFB fans will be waiting for this matchup today. Tennessee has been rolling and continues to pass the eye test (our eye test anyways) with no signs of slowing down. The Bama offense outside of Jahmyr Gibbs has been underwhelming and there is a stark difference when Bryce Young plays or doesn't. Its clear the offensive identity is still being formed, but the defense continues to put it together. Kool-Aid McKinstry has an awesome name, but an even better game. The Will Anderson that was in pre-season Heisman ballots is starting to show up in a big way with double digit pressures last week vs Texas A&M. Bryce Young playing changes your perspective on either side but the fact that Bama is this large of a favorite then its fair to guess Vegas knows info we don't. Its impossible to expect Bryce Young to be at 100% so I don't expect a lot of deep shots from this team. Jahmyr Gibbs vs the Tennessee run defense will be a matchup to watch all day. Tennessee has improved greatly in this area but Gibbs can break 70 yards at any point in the game. Hendon Hooker is a mature college player but I will be watching to see how he reacts to the Bama pressure because they will get pressure. With Cedric Tillman out again, Tennessee will need Jalin Hyatt and Bru McCoy to step up again.

Jon's Game of the Week Pick: Alabama 35-24

Zach's Game of the Week Pick: Alabama 45-35

Jon's GOW Record: 3-3

Zach's GOW Record: 4-2
