Balls In Your Court Week 3 CFB Picks

Some of these top week 3 matchups have been deflated given the results of weeks 0-2, but we still have a few matchups spread out over the full day of time slots and I have never been one to complain when College Football is on. We have a rivalry renewed in Nebraska vs OU to start the day, BYU @ Oregon in the midday slot where Oregon brings an undefeated home record in the last 20 games, and Miami @ A&M to end the Saturday slate. Lots of cupcakes on the slate but this is simply setting up for another stellar week 4! There are plenty of games to dive into, so lets not waste anymore time.

Balls In Your Court Week 3 Game Of the Week: Miami Hurricanes @ Texas A&M (-6)

This game was likely going to be Oklahoma @ Nebraska as that is the series that exemplifies the passion and tradition that College Football is all about. Unfortunately, Nebraska lost to Georgia Southern last week so we will stick with Miami @ A&M. The Jimbo Fisher experiment in College Station is growing tired by admin and fans alike, with results becoming necessary quick. That buy out is insane so the Aggies are likely hamstrung, but Jimbo has a lot left in the tank and truly needs to live up to this "QB Whisperer" moniker for the Aggies to take the next step. The Aggies defense is top notch - just a tier below Bama - but have studs are all three levels of the defense. This will easily be the biggest test for the young career of Tyler Van Dyke and I look forward to seeing how he responds in that hostile environment. I don't expect Miami to be able to run the ball, but I also don't expect A&M to be able to score points. The hope is Max Johnson (recently named started) can bring new life or a spark to this offense. At this time, I can't bet on this gross Texas A&M offense.
